A solo survival horror journaling RPG. You’re not alone. You just wish you were.
The forest isn’t dead. It’s just digesting slower than the cities did.
You used to hand out trail maps. Maybe you smiled once. Now you’re holed up in a rotting firewatch tower in the center of Olympic National Park—what’s left of it. Fog-drenched, monster-choked, quiet as a grave with good acoustics. You haven’t heard another human voice in weeks… unless the radio counts. It shouldn’t.
You are the last ranger. Keep the monsters inside the fence. Keep the tower standing. Try not to scream into the Spirit Beacon. (Seriously. Don’t.)
What You’ll Do:
Explore the haunted biomes of the park: rainforest, alpine, coastal, and the place you’re not supposed to go
Hunt fungal elk, coral wolves, and other things that blink out of sequence
Craft weapons and tools from teeth, moss, and whatever used to be a person
Listen to the radio… until it starts listening back
Lose your tower and become nomadic, cold, and full of bad ideas
Discover clues about the quarantine, the perimeter, and what the park was really built to contain
What You Need:
A journal or death log
1d4, 1d6, 1d8, 1d12, 1d20 (or a dice app if your hands are shaking)
A taste for lonely horror
Optional: a flashlight and a soundtrack that sounds like static eating a hymn
Endings Include:
Getting rescued (sure)
Getting eaten (more likely)
Escape (yeah, good luck)
Getting absorbed into the ecosystem (hot)
* Sleeping next to the frequency (now it dreams through you)
