The Wandering Library: Expanded Edition

Greetings, Librarian! Welcome to the new edition of The Wandering Library, a solo journaling RPG expanded from the one-page original. What is it? A journaling role-playing game is a storytelling game where you take on the role of a character (or multiple characters) and simply create a story through journaling. In this game, you will be a Librarian who owns and runs a mobile Library, travelling across different locations, encountering a range of people and events. How do you play? To play this game you can either use dice, or simply pick and choose from the provided lists of prompts to answer. You may use any method you like to record your answers, whether that's writing, drawing, creating audio files or however you prefer to be creative. The prompts are there to help guide and inspire you as you tell your story. What's new in the Expanded Edition? The original game had six locations and a table of 36 prompts. In this new version, each of the original locations now have their own sets of twelve prompts, and a new location of "On The Road". Additionally, there are brief descriptions of nine potential characters for you to meet, and four optional sponsors to support your Library. There are also some helpful questions and small tables at the beginning to help you create your Library and consider more about your Librarian. Overall, the one page game has turned into 25 pages, and 84 prompts (excluding a few optional extras)!
