The Rock Limpet

You were at the heart of the Revolution. There was violence, but it was all for a cause. Then you were at the heart of the new government. There was change, but also compromise. It's true what they say about revolutions: the wheel continues to turn. Eventually, you were overthrown. Now you are dying in exile, far from home. Your name will be written in the history books, but will they remember the great things you achieved, the mistakes you made, or the blood you spilled? Your side of the story needs to be told. And so you sit down to pen your memoir. A vindication. An explanation. The Rock Limpet is a solo journalling game in which you roleplay as the deposed leader of a revolutionary regime in exile. To play, you need a deck of tarot cards (or an online generator), something to write with, and something to write on. You will draw cards, and follow the writing prompts to create the entries in the memoir.
